| Born May 22 1978, in Camden, NJ, spoken word artist, Tre G. began writing poetry in the sixth grade. However, his love for writing expanded into other facets of the craft and by the time he reached high school he had begun writing short stories, essays, plays, and is now currently working a novel, entitled "Nobody's Child". After sharing his writings with others, he began to understand the poignant impact words can have on the human psyche. Not just effecting the mind, but leaving fingerprints on the souls they engulf as well. As a boy he began to notice the pain and problems life offers to indiviuals. He also took note of how everyone felt alone in their circumstances, but the truth was and still is, that we all have troubles, and we are not the only ones experiencing the difficulites we face. Having a tainted childhood his self-being abandoned by his mother as an infant, verbally and physically abused by different women, moving many times a year, and having a poor relationship with his father- he is no stranger to pain. However, Tre G. has come to the belief that everything happens for a reason and the trials of today prepare us for the glory of tomorrow. The very pains that polluted his childhood are the passions that fuel his gifting to write. Armed with an affinity for oration, an ability to convert profound insight into poetic expression, and being capable of telling a story with the romantic elegance of his predecessors, Tre G. seeks to inspire all who listen. His current achievements include: Motivational and instructional speaking at halfway houses, Grade Schools, and Colleges. Co-founder Rapitre Inc., CEO Rapitre Records, 3 albums "The Evening", Life, Love, & The Pursuit", and "Our Father's Business" as well as a self-published book of poetry and collected thoughts entitled "Thesis Statement" which can be purchased by visiting the merchandise section.
